Dan Taylor

Daniel Taylor

Daniel Taylor, creator of Rainbow Valley Fire Department, draws inspiration from his three young sons.  Understanding their love for fire trucks and rescue vehicles, Taylor created the new animated children's program as an obligation to provide trustworthy programming for children as well as a tribute to 9/11.  Graduation from the highly acclaimed University of Southern California film school, Taylor has enjoyed a successful career as a Hollywood screen writer.

Taylor is credited with writing the movie "the Score" starring Robert De Niro, Edward Norton and Marlon Brando.  Taylor has written scripts for Disney, Twentieth-Century Fox, Sony, Warner Brothers and Paramount Pictures.
   
Tim Conway

Tim Conway

Veteran actor and comedian Tim Conway brings years of entertainment experience to Rainbow Valley Fire Department as the voice of "Freddy the Fire Chief," the leader of the fire house.  With numerous movie and television credits and years of experience, Conway brings a light-hearted sense of education and leadership to the firehouse.
Conway has a deep history in works that are targeted toward children including "Air Bud: Golden Receiver" and "The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again."

   
Robert Riggle

Robert Riggle

Rob Riggle, popular actor and comedian, brings life and personality to Rainbow Valley Fire Department as the live action character of Captain Andy.   Riggle brings Captain Andy to life to help children learn all about real fire fighters.  Riggle can be seen in many of today’s popular movies and television shows including Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” with John Stewart. Rob and has also been a regular performer on “Saturday Night Live.” and has been involved in many major Hollywood films including “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”.

   
B.J. Thomas

B.J. Thomas sings the Rainbow Valley Fire Department Theme Song

B.J. Thomas sang the theme song to Rainbow Valley Fire Department.  Thomas, who has been performing for more than four decades, is the most famous for the song "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head."  Thomas has sold more than 70 mission records throughout his career as well as winning five Grammy awards.  The theme song speaks to the good-hearted nature of the program and will bring smiles to boys and girls everywhere.
Thomas has had 15 Top 40 hits which include "Hooked on a Feeling," "Rock and Roll Lullaby" and "I Just Can't Help Believing."

   
John Bettis

John Bettis, Lyricist

Lyricist John Bettis wrote the theme song for Rainbow Valley Fire Department.  He has written songs that have sold more than 250-million records.  They have been sung by some of the greatest artists of our time, including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Tim McGraw, Lee Ann Womack, Billy Ray Cyrus, Randy Travis and Karen Carpenter.  His songs include "Human Nature," "Heartland," "Top of the World," "Yesterday Once More" and "Crazy for You."  He received Emmys for "One Moment in Time," the theme for the 1988 Olympics, and for "Where there is Hope" in 2003.  Bettis and Steve Dorff wrote the score for the animated feature, "Annabelle's Wish" - one of the highest rated Christmas specials that sold more than two-million cassettes.

Steve Dorff, Composer
